With his wife who is a sommelier and his expertise in whiskey and cocktails, Jerry Slater wanted to continue to fuel his passion with a French American bistro, The Expat. Knowing guests gather around drinks and food for many different occasions, the Slater's wanted to create multiple seating options with open dining in the main area by the bar or front porch and a more private setting in the upstairs lounge.
